第七届功能语言学国际论坛征稿通知
SILF
It is with great joy that we announce the VII International Symposium on Functional Linguistics (SILF), which will take place at the Faculty of Arts of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, from September 4th to 6th, 2024. The theme of this edition of the event is “New directions towards classic themes of functionalism”. With this we seek to bring together research that discusses the tension between tradition and innovation in functionalist linguistic research, in order to encourage not only the establishment of dialogues and interfaces with areas that have only been timidly explored by functionalists, but also to revisit themes that still require new answers. and which, through new methods, can be explored in new directions. The event is organized around ten thematic axes:1. Textual-discursive organization2. Language and grammar teaching3. Typology and linguistic diversity4. Grammar of constructions5. Variation and change6. Cognition and models based on use7. Discourse and social interaction8. Functional description and analysis of natural languages9. Computational interfaces and applications10. Language, society and linguistic policy.
